Some friends of mine just lost two dogs to Parvo; the vet indicated that 'coons carry it. They have had some 'coon problems recently.

they are alot more dangerous then one might think. another time when i took after one to chase it up a tree to pop him the prick took off and when i was hot on his ass he turned back to do something, not sure if he was planning on attacking or what but he got the ol size 16 steel toe right to the melon. he did one hell of a flop then headed straight to the tree he lost his life in.

I just shot the biggest raccoon I ever seen in my barn with my Sp101 snubbie loaded with Hornady critical defense .38+p 110gr, and it dropped off the rafters like a sack of bricks. End of story. It was a bloody mess, from what I can gather it looks like I got him in the neck.

How do you lose dogs to parvo? You can get a 7 inn 1 shot for $5, an 8 in 1 shot is a bit more. You can give the puppies the shots as soon as their eyes open.
