Looks quite young to me...kind of depends on which state you live in, but he looks like a 1.5 year old deer...

Too big to be a 1.5 year old. I have seen bucks that had 8 points at that age but were just little basket racks. In Florida shoot it. In the midwest pass. Of course it all depends on your standards. With a bow on hard hunted public land probably a shooter just about anywhere. Your call on how you feel. If you have to ask I'd pass.

I've seen 1.5 year old deer with basket racks...I thought that's what he was.looking closer he does appear to be a bit larger...maybe 10" spread?

I've only passed on 1 deer in my life and that was a fawn. Yearlings, button bucks, you name it,it's down. The younger ones aren't as tough and taste better .
