That is a great story Sarge, I am going to admit that I myself have been stabbed once & shot myself twice.
Well you have me on that one. I have not ever shot myself.
I have been shot 3 times and stabbed once, and that was just my In-Laws, when I joined the Army It got worse.

My dad was 5'4" to my 5'7" but he was a 180lb fire plug with chest and arms built up by packing a BAR across Europe chasing nazis, thanks for reminding me of him!
Great story and great ending. Just off the cuff, I would think if you would get in touch with one of the managers at one of the big bookstore chains. They could even direct you to a publisher. I am sure they have many books in their stores and catalog that are written by first time writers. I as well as others here have a story they should share. You have stirred my interest as well. I may send the story about my life threatening close call on the Tennessee River?
