I hunt hogs in TX all the time, in all types of terrain, yr round with this rifle

This is not any more bulky,or heavy than an AR10 IMO.

7.62x51mm has been plenty for any hog I have run across so far.

My longest one shot stop on a hog so far was at 376 yds exact with the M14 Tanker pictured above. Hog weighed out at about 175 lbs or so.
