Default Quail

I'm bored, so I think I'll go out this morning for some quail, chuckar and rabbits. A little cool this morning with a slight breeze, so it should be a good hunt, just me, myself and I.

Back later,
Jim...........

Well, did a lot of driving to and from many of my old spots with not much luck. Only brought home two rabbits and three quail. Will go out again this morning to one of the best spots, Camp Cady preserve, which is overseen by Quail Unlimited and DFG. If I can stay out of the manzanita thickets I should come home with limits of quail and cottontail. Soon as I wake my other half up at 6:00 to start her day, I'll head out again.......

Quail are getting hard to find in most parts of KY. At least you found a few.
