Both shot with Rem700 .270win 140gr Win Supreme factory ammo

200 yds with a remington 700 .308, 110 grain nozzler (spelling?) varmit tip. Standing headshot!

What was that? At 200 yards and a head shot thats hell of a shot.

Head shots are humane. Bragging about the gore, and I'm not pointing fingers, is just disturbing.

Multiple shots on one animal mean you need a better gun/round combo, or more range time.

Head shots don't really make for good trophies though...

I never had to take more than one shot on any animal I have shot. After that discussion I understand it better. Everyone here enjoys hunting thats all that matters.

Personally, I've yet to kill a deer while hunting. Driving...that's a different story, and it damn sure weren't head shots then...

I've only hunted ducks, doves, and squirrels with any success. The squirrels were almost all head shots with a scoped .22
