Default National Shooting Sports Foundation Inc.

Well once again the anti-gun and anti-hunting crowd are after us "again"!
Thought I would make you aware of what is going on that you might not be aware of. There are other great organizations out there that are also doing everything in their power to protect our Second Amendment and our Hunting and Shooting Sport and the firearms industry including the NRA. There is another great organization with a lot of financial support and power. That is the National Shooting Sports Foundation Inc.
Today they filed for dismissal of the second lawsuit filed by the Center for Biological Diversity and six other groups to ban all commonly used ammunition in the USA containing lead components representing 95% of the ammunition sold today.
The CBD's transparent goal is to repeatedly file lawsuits with the US Environmental Protection Agency known as the EPA to end hunting in America by banning ammunition!
There is no sound science that shows the use of traditional ammunition has harmed wildlife populations or that presents a health risk to humans who consume game taken with traditional ammunition. (Auth. Lawrence Keane NSSP)
The first lawsuit was dismissed last year filed by the CBD wasting tax payer money and the EPA's time and resources.

The groups attempting to file these law suits to eventually ban ammunition the shooting sport and hunting are listed below should you have any contact with someone from their organizations. And have an opportunity to put a stick in the spokes of their wheels by spreading the word in your community of their intent!

1.Center for Biological Diversity
2.Cascade Raptor Center of Oregon
3.Loon Lake Loon Association of Washington State
4.Preserve our Wildlife of Florida
5.Tennessee Ornithological Society
6.Thumper Swan Society
7.Western Nebraska Resource Council

We need to realize our Second Amendment and our beloved Shooting Sport is continually under attack. Many times unknown to us and behind the scene!
A perfect example was Obama's meeting with Hillery Clinton and the Brady Foundation. Where he advise them to keep things low key and inferred he did not want the sporting and shooting community to be aware of underlying plans until after the election. Anyway be vigilant when it comes to your Second Amendment Rights and the Shooting Sport.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
