Can't get better than lab or golden retriever! They are bred to bring back downed birds! Blue tick coons work ok too!

My lab is the best dog I have ever had. Just don't leave water in the bath tub.

Her she is as a puppy sitting in the outside water bowl at a friends house.

How much money you got on hand...... Sometimes you get lucky and can find one that won't cost you any thing. What do you hunt the most, Ask your self, do I want a water dog, retriever, or a land dog pointer retriever, beagle to hunt rabbits, hounds to run deer. You can train MUTTS to hunt......Cross breeds that are big and mean that will tackle hogs head on and will fight till the death......And still love your children.....I had a yellow lab that would die to save my children if need be.....The smartest dog I ever owned.......RIP Sabastion........
