when I was in Idaho, use to help train bloodhounds, I would run through the woods and try to make it hard for them ( get your minds out of the gutter) and the next day I would get close to where I came out of the woods and they would find me every time

OP if you tell us what your wanting to hunt then we can suggest a few breeds suited/bred for that purpose

Beagles are a very good hunting dog. Rabbets and squirrels are about all ive ever got one to run though......not countin stray cats

The reason we have this guy is that the lady that had him first did not like him bringing baby rabbits in out of the field & he loves to hunt.............This is Frank.
