what does a blood hound do does he get birds like pheasant and duck or does he do some thing elts

Pretty much. They're trackers. You'll be wanting a pointer for upland birds, and or a retriever for duck or dove field.

I think a hound baying on the trail is about the most beautiful sound in the world.

My hound bays in different tones. You can tell what is going on up ahead. If she is getting pissed, it will send shivers down your spine.
