What is best to hunt with a semi-automatic pistol?

Catfish 09-27-2007 04:09 PM

What are you going to hunt? and is it leagal to hunt with were you are?

What make, model and caliber are you going to use?

Small game with a .22. Other than that nothing. Calibers that are meant for man stopping have no business in the deer woods unless in the hands of a competent marksman and super experienced hunter. Then the only reason to do it is for the challange.

Grizzlies. Use a .22 and make sure you get real close.

I've hunted deer with my .45 ACP quite a bit. You really need to know what you're doing and be able to get up close to take a shot.
