Default Hog Hunting trip from Colorado

I would really love to spend a few days hunting hogs without breaking the bank, on a trip from Northern Colorado. Any ideas on where I could go without spending all my time and money getting there and back?

I hear there's some good hog hunting in Missouri and Arkansas.

The pig population in Texas is now at about 14 million and some of the ranchers will almost pay YOU to come get rid of them.

OK, thanks for the suggestions, I did a little research on hunting hogs in Texas, OK, Ark, and Missouri and it sounds like they all have huge problems with ferel hogs and in many cases don't even require a license for an out of state hunter to shoot them. Sounds like you have to go toward the southern part of the states to get into the large hog populations, so while all of these states are within a long days drive from home, going from the north to the south end adds an additional day. I also looked at some outfitters and while there are some pretty good deals on hunts including food and accomedations, everyone wants parties of 4 or more. It could take me weeks to plan a time when I can go, let alone find 3 pals that can afford to, want to, and can go at the same time. Isn't there someplace a guy can park a motorhome and have access to public or private land to shoot some hogs?

This place is just off of I-35 south of OK City. They have a good reputation. I know for sure there are hogs all over that part of OK because we own property near there.

Hey lon, can I crash at your place for a week or so and get paid to hunt hogs?

The operative word there was "almost" pay you, Spitty. But you always have a place to stay!
