Handgun

I read the following article and to my understanding is states that hunters can carry a handgun for protection during hunting as long as it is not used to hunt. Im basically wanting to make sure I understand 100% and that I am correct.

Thanks

JB- first- rely on NOTHING from Facebook. EVER. For ANYTHING.

It is quite possibly correct. Here in VA, if I have a CCW, I CAN carry a handgun while hunting, even if that handgun is not legal for hunting. YOUR mileage may vary.

I would urge you to contact the Game Commission where you live, and get the straight skinny from them. Since if that is NOT accurate, or has not yet gone into effect, or has restrictions, etc- THEY are going to be the ones reading you your rights.

You won't get any better advice than that! Don't trust what you read on the net, check your local regs.

I had my roommate copy the link to me off of google through facebook so I would have it. That's why it said facebook in the link. But I will call the local game wardens to find out for sure. Thanks guys.

In Ky they changed the law last year so that you can carry concealed now.
