I agree. It is a good idea. You can zoom in and out to get a close and a far perspective of your hunting area.
By the way, you can tell when the photo was taken. Zoom in close to the area. Then click on the little clock icon near the middle of the tool bar. That will open up a slider that will tell you when the photo was taken. There are usually multiple photos available. My main hunting area was photographed in 1998, 2005, and 2006.
