Wrong title should be a "Perfect Day"

I bet you will. You're a much better hunter than I am.

Nice job there Lon!!

Are you gonna dress and cut him up, or are you gonna send him out for process?

Dressed him and took him to a processor in town, which is about five minutes away. We have the combo to the lock on the walk-in cooler, so it's easy-peasy and should have the meat back in about a week.

I don't know what you are basing that statement on. Are out of state licenses expensive?

The fact that you're a bowhunter.

***RESPECT***

I think you can get a five-day non-resident for about $45.

Nice buck, Lon. I got skunked this weekend in Oklahoma - the wind was just too windy, and nothing was moving. But, I've got a 4-day weekend coming up, and Thursday morning I'll be back in the woods with my favorite hunting partner, my wife.

The best partner, buck!

It's been really windy down here all week up until today....I think you're sending some weather down our way!

Way to go,Lon.
I'm still waiting on the deer up here to start the rut.Nothing moving around until dark thirty, but hopefully in a couple weeks I'll get something.
I'm hoping for the next cool front to get here after Turkeyday,I'll be off next Sun-Mon.

Your shooting the same bullet that I load for all my .30 caliber rifles, and I also load the 25/06 with the same version-115gr.
They are great bullets, but I wish they expanded a little more, they don't seem to have the knock down that a soft point does.
