Hey Y'all.
I am thinking about teaming a Glock 20 & 29 10MM together for Hog Bustin'/ close encounters.
I am thinking flat nosed hard cast lead bullets.
Any thoughts or experiences? __________________ "True Happiness is a warm .357,.45 ACP,.38 Special,.410 or a 12 gauge & a cold Sun Drop." ME

I thought Glocks had a polygonal rifling system that didn't shoot cast bullets well. How about CorBon or Buffalo Bore with 200 gr JSPs? |

Call glock and ask them, it will tell you a lot about the company. __________________ .

I second freefall. We use 1911 45 hp here in AZ just for Javalina. For a real pig I think I would use that 10 with as much beef as possible!! |

10mm will be fine. NOLEAD IN GLOCK BARRELS!
Use CorBon DPX or Speer Gold Dots. __________________ I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?

I carry a G20 about 75% of the time, or a G29 about 25% of the time when I'm hunting, loaded with DT 180gr Gold Dots. I haven't shot a hog with one...yet . But I have shot hogs with a .44 Mag revolver, .243, .270WSM and a 7mm Ram Mag. I have no doubt about the 10mm working just fine. We have a ton of hogs on our lease, so I'm sure I'll have a chance to take one with my 10mm someday. |
