Default German Hunter Seats

Various seating for hunting in Germany. You are not considered a real German hunter until you build your own. There is also a typical German feeder, which is a hollowed out log.

That would seem to be an awful cozy spot to hole up in while waiting for deer or hogs to move through. The January deer muzzle loading season here in Ohio is one cold hunt,, that outfit you have there would sure help break the wind and keep you out longer,, I like it, wish I had some land on which to build a similar stand.Nice Jager.

I did not build that one. Nice though, very nice. The one I use is actually better, but at ground level. I will take a picture of it this weekend. It is made for two hunters and I have a pillowed bench inside for two hunters. I can shoot from the front and two sides, and close each side as needed. I also use various high seats located at various reviers. The hunter who built that Kanzel is Peter Weid. I will take more pictures of different seats as I am invited to more hunts. I posted a tread title German Social hunt. Check it out.

Looks a lot like pallet deer stands and blinds I saw in Georgia.
