vacation set .....going back to portal hunting club in georgia to run them deer with the hounds again ...cant wait ,the rut will be kicking in around the 2nd week of nov. so i hope to collect some bone this time

They used to have liberal number of tags and a long season. Is the deer population still high in the southern states? I know south Arkansas has plenty of deer.

for the south ga counties .long ,macintosh it's 2 bucks 10 does ....Portal Club est 1900 ,the oldest hunting club in ga ,has it own management criteria , being a guest as I was last year ,can kill does ... It will be bone or none this year . I killed 2 does running at 40 yrds last year ....my first time behind dogs . Im hooked .will be taking a friend this year ...greatest hunting experiance of my life
