It won't hurt to take a few bears in regulated hunts. The FWC didn't bend to the pressure of the anti-hunting crowd. Good news.

It is about time. CO was ruined by wild live management at the 'ballot box' rather than science. I hope logic prevails in FL, but don't count on it!!!

Common sense prevails !! I grew up hunting in or around the fakahatchee strand in south florida and bear back in the 70's and 80's were common and by the time I moved from florida they were more than a problem in some areas down south . Hunting is the only way to control herd size of any game when state wide when game numbers are high state wide .

Besides bear stews kind of tasty .

Now here in NC there are some 340 plus bears taken each year in part of the 3 or 4 county area around Mt Mitchell and they still don't keep them under control , number skeep growing .
