So I loaded up a bunch of Sierra Varmintinators this morning. Plan is to hit the Newfoundland's this Saturday after the elusive jack rabbit. Excited to see the performance.

I've been shooting Winchester Ballistic Silvertips exclusively for over 10 years in .243 and .270. I can't say enough good things about them. Very consistent grouping, very good expansion, nickel plated casings cycle very smoothly and most importantly never a FTF. I have never had a game animal escape my freezer when I put a Silvertip in it.

Mine are either hard cast lead 350gr or 405gr for the 45/70.

With these, my shotgun is easily as accurate as a centerfire out to 200 yards. With a rifled barrel of course.

Hornady 12 gauge SST. I use these for deer depending on where I'm at. Otherwise, it's a smoothbore with Remington Sluggers.

I accept your challenge sir! We will compete in 4 different events spanning 4 continents and the winner of 3 of the 4 challenges gets pride and a firm handshake from all the spectators. Are these agreeable terms?
