Default European Hunt

Well knowing how many of you feel about European hunts I'll probably tic a few of you off today. But I kinda have a hanker'n for chicken; so, I can run over to AR and behead some at Tyson Foods - or I can hook up with the boys from the Gun Club today and go harvest some pheasant with a shotgun and maybe, just maybe, one or two will escape to roam freely until a stink'n hawk gets them.

I think I will go give one a chance to escape and live freely for a few days....

On my home from my son's place yesterday I saw a hen pheasant walking along the shoulder of the road. I haven't seen one here in a while but I guess they are out there.

I am not a hunter but I keep eyeing all those Canada geese. LOL

You can get most escaped birds with a dog. They don't go very far.

I quit it. I valued the shooting practice and the companionship, but it never felt quite right. Hope deg you have a good time and none of my quibbles.

Oh and they have to be cooked right. Tougher than chicken!

That'd be Oklahoma European. Put them suckers in a tube and blow them out with compressed air - it is kinda unorthodox, but still has a level of enjoyment.

Because that'd make it Texas European Hunting. We are on the north side of the Red River. Although not by much, we have progressed some here in OK.
