Default Elk hunting

I found out I got drawn for the 2010 Ky bull elk lotto!!!!!!! I'm told it's a once in a lifetime opportunity! I'm so excited I can't wait until Oct. I've already chosen a hunting unit & guide. I'm working on test loads for my old trusty Browning A-bolt .284 with 160 gr Nosler Accubonds.

I have never used an Accubond bullet before and only know of one elk that was killed with one. The shooter said it performed well, I have always used Partions with great success. Anyway good luck and keep us imformed.

Congrats on your draw - How many years of applications? Anyone know how many years on a out of state Oregon draw? I have one year of conservation points. Thanks R-BOLT
