good educated choice. and that is why i would go with the .308. because that is the one i personally like. round choice. either is plenty big for deer in texas. most people that i know that hunt use a .270. i would always go .308 though. and the reason that it is a little cheaper is they make more .308 and options for different rounds will have a lot more choices.
