I don't have a problem with them but when we put out corn for deer (my aunt just likes to see them my uncle me and my dad like to eat them) But they go apy for the corn so we usually sit on the porch with our guns and pop the damn things when they come in for the corn.

Uncle- 22lr
Dad- 17hmr or 22lr
me-17hmr

We don't eat them we throw them in the woods for what ever will eat them, theyre usually gone by the morning. Mostly it's just fun that and the food aint bad.

Crows are smart- most intelligent of birds. Have been found to be not only tool users, but tool makers. The Morrígan- Irish Goddess of War and Death-is represented by a crow.

They are highly destructive of crops and other wildlife. There are limits on WHEN they can be taken, but no bag limit. Have not used .17 HMR on them (I may this summer)- but a .22 bench rest rifle, used from a sniper's hide works quite well.

Crows go "poof" when hit with a .17 hmr. Gophers go "splat".
