So the 7.62x39 should work... just got an ak 47 and I'm scoping it out in the next couple weeks..

yes it would I just thought it would be fun to get a 74 already have my sks in 7.62

Yeah I had a sks loved it but damn I thought it was a little to heavy

Ha yes is a lil heavy to carry all day but i like the weight once i start to shoot

Missed a coyote two days ago with an SKS. Didn't miss by much but I missed
100 yards on the run out in one of the pastures, iron sights.
