coyote hunting techniques?
I have a horse that recently died and we are putting it in the back corner of our land and I want to shoot some coyotes so I figured ill shoot the coyotes when they come to eat the horse any specific things I shud do or special ways to lure them in.. I'm hunting with a .270 and I'm going to be about 200 yards away ...

If the horse was treated with antibiotics befor it died the coyotes likely won't touch it. If not, just be ready at dawn and dusk as these are the likely times you will see them with any daylight. With a good light you could shoot after dark, but you will have to be closer, say within 100 to 50 yards.

The horse has had no antibiotics in the last three years atleast

If you are a good shot with good eyes you will be fine. Although yotes are VERY hard to see in dusky light. Like the other guy said get closer 100-150 just to be safe

Yea were its at there is little brush and a distinct background so I think I might be able to get a silouhette
|
Then it sounds like you're good to go.

Hopefully I am and some coyotes will come up ,been seeing tracks pretty good and I can't wait to shoot me some coyotes
