Coping with a miss...

Soo I missed the biggest buck I've ever seen this morning... I don't know how but it happened. I was just wondering what everyone else's does in this situation. I flipped out and started kick stuff lol

Did you hit him at all or totally miss? I would maybe like to try hunting but my biggest fear is to injure an animal. I would feel very bad if I inflicted serious pain on anything......human or animal. If I knew I could shoot it and it would drop, I'd hunt. I know I'm not that good a shot.

I was unable to find hair or blood... pretty sure I hit limb that I didn't see till after the fact.

Bow or firearm?

I got that out of my system when I was 13. Think I missed three that year before getting my first deer.

I missed a 170" 8 point at 15 yards with my bow a couple years ago I still haven't gotten over that and still get tore up when I think about it
