Cheapest and most effective way for coon is on or slightly off the road. To insure freshness, whip shake it hard one time. If the meat does NOT fly off, you're good to go. Best to avoid coon that's been tenderized to much also. One good hard under carriage or tire hit is optimum tenderizing. No dog, no ammo, no gun and no getting lost in the woods with "dualing banjos" as back drop music.
