Argument is meant to reveal the truth, not to create it.
Edward de Bono

To enter into a discussion without first understanding both sides of the issue is an exercise in futility.
Dr. Edward Etswald

Because you believe something does not always make it the truth.
Albert Einstein

The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
Mohandas Gandhi

Not to engage in the pursuit of truth is to live like ants instead of like men.
Mortimer Adler

Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.
Adolf Hitler

The actions of politicians must be judged by what benefits they plan to gain from them.
Richard J. Daley

I find these quotes apropos to the issue at hand.

Default Aw geewiz!

Walley, don't quote Hitler! What are you thinking?!!!! I try to offer an olive
branch to "some common ground" & This is your reaction?! "Jumpin Jimmini",
you are one hopeless fool like the "cat-hoarder dork" that attacked me on
my own property who found a can of pepperspray emptied in his face with a
promise of a more drastic action next time! Thankfully, he & the wife moved
to the next county after that with their hundred cats & he died @ age 42
before his wife became the "worst cat hoarder in Idaho state history"!!! At
that time she had over 500 cats with some of the dead ones in her freezer...
as they were likely eating them since they "were off their meds" in an attempt
to feed them! PLEASE GO AWAY...if this is the only rebuttal you can
offer & let this post expire!!!!

I have received some PM's from Walley and it looks like he has nothing to do with his time and all he wants is to excite an issue for his own entertainment. He appears to be a person who talks with himself a lot. I could post his PM's but the moderators might not like that. I asked him to go away.

Default Thanks ft!

Pop is 70 yrs old now, & tried deer hunting in the early 60's only to be shot
at by some "nimrods" who mistook him for a deer! As a qualified member of
a "boarding party" in the navy he "trimmed a few branches above their heads"
to prove he was not "fair game"! I missed out on not taking up big game
hunting thanks to that until I bought him & myself a Win 30-30 in 1979 &
harvested my first large muley buck in 1980. Since then he has harvested
2 nice bucks & his first one was a large muley doe in 1995. He has yet to
harvest an elk & I hope to guide him toward one like the one in 2008...but, it
caught "both of us off guard" as it trotted by us,but I was able to track &
spot it again to harvest it! We were enjoying a cigarrete each @ the time &
being very quiet, but now we have even been cig free for over a year &
enjoy sneaking up on big game with more ease!!!

Please keep the mud slinging and innuendo to private messages as I have attempted to do at others suggestion. If you want to put someone down do it like a man not a petulant child.

Walley, what do you want ? You are a strange person. I am not going to answer your stupid PM's because you have nothing to do with your time.

Here is the latest PM from Walley, if any of you know this guy call him and tell him to stop- What is this about ??

Tisk, Tisk
So the Little Boy’s feelings have been hurt and he does not have the intestinal fortitude to conduct himself like a man. Little Boy if you want to piss in the alley with the big boys grow a pair of balls first.

The two things I detest most in life are cowardice and stupidity by choice. Both of which you blatantly exhibit. You can run but you cannot hide. Expect to hear from me often.

Yes I do have quite a bit of time on my hands right now do to the fact that crops are not ready to be harvested and I have retired from my profession of choice.

Default Oh, come on,

Walley, Lets not hide behind private messages! This site has been "more than
patient with us"! (If we tried this on most other sites, we would be history)!
I have tried to to be civil with you even though we have insulted each other,
but hopefully we can reach some common ground like Idaho has been trying
to with the f&wl service. This mess did not "hit the fan" like it has until Wyom-
ing "refused to play ball"! Sure, I would love to go back to an Idaho free of
wolves...but clearly that will not happen anytime soon! Like the cougars &
grizzly bears we have to be wary of & (thankfully) rare...here as I have never
encountered a "grizz" in 20 yrs & only a few cougars in that time! But these
introduced wolves breed like rabbits & hunt "day & night" if they need to!
Despite the successful hunting season last year of 188 wolves harvested
that earned 500k, several million were lost due to the lack of hunting licenses
& deer & elk tags sold last year in the worst affected areas that showed a 90
percent drop in sales! (I have been lucky in harvesting deer, but elk are the
"holy grail" in meat quality) as they are 2nd only to moose when compared
to "prime beef"! (But, we have to enter a lottery for a once in a lifetime tag
for a moose)! (I ate plenty of moose meat in Finland thanks to my relatives)
But I would like to harvest one someday instead of the poachers that ruin that
for all of us !
