If the bow hunter truly made a kill shot let him have it. Same if a gun hunter had put a killing shot in it first and was trailing the deer. On the other hand if they have quit trailing it, keep it.

I don't hunt, so I don't know the "rules", but since the bowhunter had a lethal shot I would let him have the deer. Just seems like the right thing to do...

I would have to say it goes to the bow hunter. If your actually hunting the deer and the bow hunter was able to call the buck into 40 yards of his position or less then he deserves the trophy. I can only speak for myself but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I had that on my conscience. Just my 2 cents worth.
