We do eat them: They are much better than store bought pork. Most of the hogs we shoot and trap are are given to
folks who need the meat.

That's awesome, it's nice to see people using nuisance animals to feed themselves And there neighbors. We have had several wild hogs in my area that have been being harvested. This time of year a wild smoked ham sounds good. Glad to know the meat will be going to use. Around here some people just shoot em and leave em where they lay. And that is such a waste. Good to see someone doing the right thing.

Judging by the blood in the back of the truck, your trap tears them up pretty good!

It's a lot easier to get them out of a trap dead, rather than alive.Unless you build a trap that you can back a stock trailer up to,and then transfer them from the trap to the trailer.
But you better have a damn well built trailer, wild hogs will tear the floor out of one in a very short time if it isn't built good.

Joking man. I wouldn't let them out alive.

I've been watching the redneck family in TX catch and hogtie the pigs on their show. I'm not sure I would do that very many times when I have a gun handy.
