Nope, she was at work. I happen to know that there are Jackals throughout all of Africa and up through the Middle East.
I watch a lot of National Geographic, Animal Planet and Nature on PBS. I have somewhat of a self educated wildlife background and interest and I am lucky enough to be married to a sexy wildlife biologist, as you know. It helps to know how to research and use Google too.

For all you who have never travelled outside of the Northern Hemisphere, the Jackal and the Coyote are so similar you would swear they are the same animal. Having seen black backed jackals in South Africa, I immediately thought they were coyotes or what we call coy-dogs (Coyote-dog crosses). __________________ In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.
