Anybody know what animals can see colors and what animals to just put hunters orange on for?

depends on what you plan on hunting. We'll need more info than that.

I was hoping for just a blanket post. I guess caribou (or deer) turkeys, bears, dall sheep, squirrels and anything else that might be food (bears not really food but i would like to avoid being seen by them if possible)

You and Me both! It wouldn't be fun to run into one of those things when I'm out marking our property line... Saw some tracks a few days ago... Gonna start bringing my 20 gauge and hope for the best.

I only know what I've read and what seems to be the case when hunting. Most mammals are color blind and birds can see color and distance better than we can.

For the most part all prey animals are color blind. They say deer can see blue, but that`s about it for them. Also, for the most part, all prediators see in color.
