Yep, that's what I use before going to the range. I will calculate drop for the ammo I take, make a print out, and check it against the actual shot.

This calculator is also good when mounting a new scope or checking reloads. Using this calculator and a chronograph really helps to understand your rifle, scope, and ammunition.
