Here in GA deer season is almost over. But for next year I get mine at walmart. And yes it is easy, it's generally from $10-$20.

I'm in Georgia too. I think with hunting license, big game tag and fishing license I was under 30 bucks total. I always get mine online so if it goes through the wash I can print a new one. For your state just check your dept of natural resources web page.

It is different for each state. Some states, you have a lottery, and only the winners get a big game tag. Other states, they are overrun with deer, and it is very easy.

How hard? You have to follow the game regulations for your state- which includes hunter safety course for all new hunters below the age of X.

The only "bigger" game we have are Moose, not very tough though. A .308 is fine.
We have a lottery for Moose. Your Deer tag comes w/ your license.

Your state has a web site which has all of the game laws on it. If you have never had a hunting lincense befor you will probly have to take a coarse on safe hunting, most states have those laws now. Just google Nv game laws and you should find all you need.

Here in Alabama you just add big game to your hunting license which bumps up the cost to $24. The bow season opens in mid October and runs through January. The gun season opens in mid November and runs through January. The limit is two a day, one of which can be a buck. There are no tags and you don't have to check in the deer anywhere.

If I hunted every day of the season and got the legal limit, I could kill about 210deer a season. Three seasons ago they imposed a three buck season limit, so 207 of them would have to be does. (They are obviously trying to get people to kill more does.)
