Anywhere they are abundant. From what I've seen I would have to say Texas. The possibility of finding a good place to hunt per dollar has to go with the Lone Star.

There's a fenced "ranch" near me where a hog can cost as little as $350. Not hunting, but guaranteed success. I am in Ohio and ferals have not taken over like in the south. Coyotes on the other hand...

From what I've heard and you've heard from other people on the forum I hear Texas has them.
However, I've been hog hunting and while I live in south florida, I travel to central florida mostly for my hog hunting. I'm lucky enough to have friends with large properties and with hunting camps but with a little bit of searching on google you can find places that not only will have a guide to take you out into "the wild" but there are even places that offer lodging on the property as well. You'll see sites that say you can pay for guarantees on this and on that and hunts for x amount of hours etc, its up to you what you're looking to do and what your budget is but I would look around and check reviews if thats the route you're going. best of luck

a friend of mine has been wanting to go for a while, especially since we started shooting more, and well this place in texas had a deal going lately so last weekend we booked a 3 day at this ranch in waelder, texas, i guess its about 75 miles southeast of Austin.

we are pretty stoked...we have two years to schedule the dates....

hoghunting2010 dot com is their link if you want to compare prices and what not.

good luck! most southern states all all good in my book anyway, cant really have a bad time in any of em.
