I wouldnt even consider any auto round (.45 acp, 9mm, even 10 mm) for a hog backup, .41 mag at the least here in Texas, I prefer a .45 colt with hot loads or a .44 mag. .357 maybe but you need a real stopper, a .45 acp may be a man stopper but on hogs, a BIG NO.
