Lets also not forget what would happen to the deer populations if these animals were not hunted for sport. For example eastern NC. You can routinely drive around in the country early in the morning or right before dusk and see 25 to 75 white tails standing together in a field. Imagine what it would be like if people didn't hunt for sport, we'd be overun by them. I'd much rather a white tail find his end through a bullet than from the grill of my car

I cant imagine. I am sorry for your loss. If you ate venison three times a week with your broccoli you could probably gain some of that lost weight. jk
