The .22 magnum with proper bullet WILL humanely drop a yote within 100 yards. I KNOW for a fact.

22 mag will kill a coyote but what you will run into if you call enough is that some coyotes hang up on you no matter how good your calling is. So when this happens you would be limited on your range with a 22 mag. With my 22-250 shooting 50gr bullet 300 yards is not a problem " usually" or let me put it this way gun will do it if I can do it. There is really no comparison between a 22 mag and a 22-250.

And personal choice I use open reed mouth calls that I make myself. Just never been one to believe in the electronic callers. Feel like you should make the sounds yourself and outsmart Willie E Coyote instead of relying on a recorded sound. Just call me old school.

I've always been interested in hunting coyote. I need to look up coyote laws here in my state, but they look like a bunch of fun to hunt!
