Nice shot, I went out last night and this evening and didn't have any luck, gonna hit em again this weekend, gonna be colder so hopefully they will come out to play then. Love hunting coyotes, almost as much as I love hunting deer, I really want to take one with my bow.

Yup, it's definitely dead.

The only moving it did after the shot was the process of folding up. The shot wasn't but about 10 yds I might add.

Hope this isn't to graphic but I got this female yesterday afternoon. Gun was a tikka 223 with a 55 gr. v-max. She was trotting straight away from me and I gave her a whistle, she paused to look back and I let her have it with a 55 gr v-max out of my 223. The bullet seems to have went in right under the skin, came out and reentered the neck right under the jaw. She was dead before she hit the ground.

That one was hit hard with a little bullet! I use 55 gr Nosler bt and I haven't tore one up that bad yet with my mini 14. Nice shooting tho!

This is a close up of the damage on this one. But its what you could expect from a 300. Seeing what you did with a .223 is quite surprising. Cool though.

Wow that is definitely dead lol. I think in my case it was the extreme angle that caused all of that damage.
