Another Animal Rights Group out of control.

These pinheads are based out of Geneva, IL.
I sent them an email this morning. I hope a bunch of you do also.

Call the Wing Pointe club, had a nice talk with a lovely lady. They
pigeons they shoot are reject bird from breeders and birds collected
from exterminators. So they are birds that would have been killed
or culled anyway. I would call that recycling. Recycling is a good
thing is it not?

I have this thing, where every time an animal rights group surfaces in the news and it comes across my attention, I make a day to shoot animals in season. I didn't have plans this weekend but now I do.
Last week I bagged some squirrels with a 12 gage, after hearing about some animal rights group.

If it was a rifle shot and I am not convinced of that:
1) One heck of a shot.
2) From a safety stand point, shooting a rifle in the air is not a good idea.
My guess is, it was a shotgun with 00 or 000 buckshot.

Considering it was a dove shoot I would guess 7 1/2 or 8 shot and it was flying really low to harass the hunters.
