Excellent shot with irons. I cant seem to hit anything with a 357. Im fine with 38 special and even 44mag but 357 just throws me.

When I first started shooting this pistol I gained a new respect for pistol accuracy.
Here is the last shot I took with it.
That was one shot that day. I can almost shoot as well with it, as I do with my rifles.

Thanks again!

Oops, I shot it past 50 yards (52 yards)
Facing away, aimed for spine and got it. Puny cartridge should allow for precise placement.
I want a 629-3 or older, 6" for hunting, 4" for general carry (I can get on fast with a 4" but find the more crude sight radius to be a 50 yard max use thing- for me).
For deer (and groundhogs) I like a .44 better.
And with that, for long D work, 8 3/8" or 9.5"...........makes things a lot easier.

My old man is not the shooter he used to be, and he does pretty good standing on 200 M IHMSA rams with a 8 3/8" 686. Cost, power, accuracy............hard rig to beat.
