It looks like there are several members getting some nice animals so far. Congrats to all!
I wish we'd get some cooler weather down here, there's not much moving around in the heat we're having.Plus the acorns are abundant this year,so not much coming around the feeders, and too damn many rattlers still cruising around in the thick bottoms where the deer and hogs are staying.
Even with snake boots on,I really hate getting struck by the rattler's,It just messes with your mind !

I appreciated reading your detailed description of your successful hunt. Makes me want to get out my equipment and try it, too.
My hat's off to you and hope you have many more good hunts.

RoGrrr, Thanks for the compliments!! Born and raised in North Eastern Penna, hunting was kind of a tradition in our family. One of the few pleasures I have left. Trying to work out the details with my co-worker Phil, to make a Texas feral hog hunt. If we go, we have to make it before New Years, so we use up the last of this years vacation days.

I wish you the best of luck! Hopefully you can get in a stand and wait out the hogs.
