Well,I went to my friends ranch today.Once again nothing was moving around,we hunted 6-7 different areas of his place and his uncles ranch a few miles down the road.
I could've shot a big doe right before it got dark.She was 313 yards away and kept looking behind her,so we thought there was going to be a buck coming out of the woods.Nothing else came out,and it was getting dark,so I passed on her.
This has been a strange hunting season around here.The deer and hogs are staying nocturnal,we spotlighted until around 2 am for hogs/coyotes but all we saw were a bunch of skunks.We shot 7-8 of them,it was really fun watching them explode when I shot 2 of them with my 25/06-I ran out of 22lr shells.

Got my first buck/deer earlier today! Took 3 years and passing multiple does. Wanted my first deer to be a buck just like my dad!

Sorry still excited! It's a 5 pointer and weighs around 130-140, took it in Mansfield Indiana.

Remington 870 rifled barrel with remington accu tips. Yea this picture doesn't do it justice :-)
