Slugs are the way to go. I use Brenneke's. IMO they work much better than a regular rifled slug.

Why rifled slugs are a poor choice on Hogs. Recovered 3" Winchester 1ounce rifled slug from small doe at close range. Ok on small deer, poor penetration for anything tougher.

Default If you are shooting a rifled barrel for hogs...

The last wetpack penetration test I ran (at a Linebaugh sixgun seminar) had the Dixie Terminator penetrate 29 inches vs a .416 Rigby with Federal factory 400 grain Partition bullets pushing 30 inches.
