Well I went to another Turkey Shoot. Even took my youngest son (17yrs.old) with me. There was about 40 contestants at this particular Turkey Shoot. Normal rules nothing fancy. The target is a gray area inside a turkey's head & neck. Most pellet holes in the gray area wins that match, 10 matches total. Winners of a match enters the trophy match. My son & I are sharing my Ol' Faithful 870 Remington. My son wins the first match. I win the third match. My son & I played in a 10 matches. My son also wins the 10th match. So we're both in the trophy match with 5 other shooters, 7 altogether. Well, the picture of my son below shows the final results.
The man to the left of my son is the range owner/ organizer of the turkey shoot. Ironic that this is my son's first Turkey Shoot. So, we're driving home and my son asks, "Dad can you bring me to the next Turkey Shoot?" I say, "NO WAY!! you make the competition too stiff."
Days like this makes life all seem worth while.
What's better than me winning a Turkey Shoot is when my son wins it.
This has been the best Turkey Shoot I've been to ever...and I have been to a lot of fun, good times turkey shoots.

Most excellent and congratulations to Underfire Jr. __________________ Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where those least capable of leadership are elected by those least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to succeed or provide for themselves are rewarded with goods and services paid for by wealth confiscated from a diminishing number of people who actually work and produce.

Well pass along a hearty "CONGRATULATIONS!" to that young man for me.
Now you just need to tell him -- "From here on out, it's your responsibility to bring home the bacon!"

That is so cool! Real quality time!
He looks like a fine young man. And so proud in the photo! You must be so proud of him!
I'll bet you couldn't get him off the phone, telling all of his buds.
