While being able to do this might be distinctive, I believe you meant to say 'instinctive.' Not a problem. We knew what you meant.

I believe (Bill Mundan) does this with his pistol. I know Byran Fergeson can shoot aspirns out of the air with a longbow.

We had little plastic soldiers sitting on the ground and we would cock the rifle, point and shoot as fast as possible. We would then move on to throwing slugs (fake coins) of different sizes into the air and quick shoot them. Getting progressively smaller. It was not uncommon for some of us to throw a BB in the air and hit it. Maybe not every time but most of the time. The last part of the training we would put on goggles and facemasks and hunt each other in the woods. They used to have entire foot lockers full of BBs. It was pretty fun. This was in 1969 and I have not ever talked to anyone else who ever did this.
Ed, thanks for the post. I read about the BBs & BB guns a long time ago. I'm glad you posted the details. It's better to hear from someone first hand, instead of me saying that I read it somewhere.

I saw an archer on TV do this with the aspirin! I forget his name, but he is an archery icon...he used a long bow and recurve only.

C'mon May 1st, 2008 and then dead until today, what's not to love??

You really want to impress me? Try shooting an Advil liquid Gel at 100 yards with a cold bore shot like the Snipers down at Fort Lewis.....
