200 rounds practice tonight. Just shot one plate at home. Working on tracking sights during rapid fire and reloads.
Also function testing my new slightly reduced 45auto load, finally got the old one chrono'ed and it was making 180PF:eek:
So far so good, no malfunctions. Had a couple weeks off, looking forward to sundays uspsa match

Anyone got any favorite "drills" for practice?

Besides "El Presidente", I try to shoot around barricades (dominant and non-dominant).

I like to set up three silouettes at varying distances. I draw and put 2 in each as quick as I can.

I lay on the ground on my back, head facing down range, when I am ready, I roll to one side on my belly, draw my weapon, 3 taps first target. Rise to a knee stance and fire 3 more taps at second target, then rise, while dropping and reloading new mag smoothly in one motion, while moving forward and emptying my weapon on last target. Keep all rounds center mass or above. Targets spaced 15 to 30 yds.

You can do the same drill standing with your back toward targets, just turn, draw and fire, drop to one knee and proceed as before.

You asked!

Thanks Jack I will have to try that.

Always try to work some "weak" hand drills into your practice sessions. It's no fun, but it may be vital!
