Default Police targets

What do the letters and numbers mean on a police silhouette target. I heard they mean kill/disable. If so, how do you read and interpret them. Is it a scoring thing or what???

What letters are yu referring to? THere are a number of different "police targets". Most have numbered scoring areas.

In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.

Yeah. I think we're going to need the target model number or photos.

Egad! Flashback to the 1960s! I think you are referring to the B-21 silhouette. It had K and D values- kill and disable. Can't remember the scoring protocol, since we only used the K values.

That silhouette pretty much got dropped, since the shooter got credit for hitting the hand (which was usually by accident, since you were shooting at center body mass and MISSED)

Most depts are now using the "center body mass" target.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.
