Alright guys,

I'm looking for a Uberti 1873 for my Cowboy Action Shooting. Now these new are around $1100 bucks and I don't have that much because Glass is always buying new guns . I would like to get y'all on the forum to look around your areas and see if you can find one for me. I'm ready to go and am only waiting on glass to finish making my rig (talented woman I'll tell ya) and the rifle. I'm using a friends right now so I'm ok but I would still like to have my own. Let me know if you find anything.

Scubie,You'll love the Uberti 1873.I have had mine for several years,it's a 45 Colt though.

I'll keep an eye out for one in 357 for ya!

Are you set on the Uberti? Rossi,Marlin,and Winchester also have them in 357.

Thanks Hillbilly, I like the Uberti 1973 because the feed from the magazine is a direct lift up with the round held horizontal for a direct feed into the chamber. The puma I’m shooting right now feeds the next round at an angle and I’ve had a bit of a feed problem.

That rifle you found is exactly what I’m looking for, thanks again.
